Citadel Source is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with Nisbets PLC to appoint a Finance Manager. This is a newly created role and working closely alongside an excellent FC mentor who will invest heavily in your growth and development.

About you

This newly created role is fundamental to their success in transitioning to the requirements of being part of a listed group. This role will ideally suit an audit background or experience in industry with audit, controls and monthly reporting who is able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role will be working closely with the finance business partners, financial reporting team and group finance team.

The ideal candidate will instinctively want to improve understanding of financial reporting on business performance and standardise and simplify reporting and associated processes where possible. The scope to grow this role is vast and with the dynamic setup and collaborative approach we take to development, the opportunity for you to grow and develop will be of paramount importance once the fundamentals of this role are established.

As a Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include but is not limited to;

  • Delivery of month end reporting including journal posting, reconciliations and variance commentary
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and reviewed regularly
  • Lead the audit process, liaising with the auditors ensuring all requests are responded to. This will involve working with multiple teams within finance and the wider business
  • Ensure we implement all controls required as part of a listed group and monitor compliance with controls
  • Drive BAU efficiency and process improvements
  • Assist with cashflow forecasting
