About you
You are a commercially focused business partner. The ideal candidate will instinctively want to improve their understanding of financial reporting on business performance and standardise and simplify reporting and associated processes where possible. The scope to grow this role is vast and with the collaborative approach we take to development, the opportunity for you to grow and develop will be of paramount importance once the fundamentals of this role are established.
- Delivery of month-end reporting including journal posting, reconciliations and variance commentary
- Challenging stakeholders on cost and support for initiatives that drive PBITA
- Weekly tracking of two key cost areas (Labour & Carriage) working closely with the key stakeholders to provide strong insight & understanding.
- Monthly and annual reporting, producing key insights on results, trends and forecasting
- Supports the delivery of BAU efficiency and reporting developments
- Works closely with stakeholders to build and deliver customer-led reporting in line with their requirements
- Advising senior stakeholders for or against a course of action based on expected financial implications.
- Supports budgeting, planning & forecasting
- Develops and maintains key processes
- In 2025 we will start incurring EPR fees. This role will help the business better understand what we can do to impact this cost line in terms of efficiencies, cost/benefit analysis of different types of packing etc

- c£45,000-£55,000 (DOE)
