Citadel Source are delighted to work with a well-established business in the North Bristol area seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Finance Manager to join their team.

About You

You will be a part- or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) with advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling abilities. You should have experience in management accounting, financial control, CAPEX, and/or FP&A, ideally within a complex, multi-departmental environment. Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting are essential.

The Role

This role involves close collaboration with the FP&A Manager, primarily focusing on cost accounting, performance tracking, and both short- and long-term P&L forecasting. You will produce consolidated outputs for P&Ls and KPIs, reconcile key accounts, and ensure compliance with cost and CAPEX accounting policies, as well as financial performance analysis.

As Finance Manager your role will include but not limited to:

• Track and analyse costs, identifying trends and insights to support performance management and cost efficiency.
• Provide accurate short- and long-term P&L forecasts, identifying potential variances and proposing corrective actions.
• Prepare and consolidate financial outputs, including P&Ls and KPIs, to inform strategic decision-making and business insights.
• Perform and manage balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Monitor and report on CAPEX investments, ensuring adherence to budget and accounting policies.
• Apply a deep understanding of cost and CAPEX accounting policies to ensure compliance and consistency across financial reporting.

What the Client has to offer

• A salary level of £45,000 to £55,000
