Citadel Source is delighted to be partnering a high-growth, Private Equity-based organisation to support the search of their new FP&A Analyst.
The role
The FP&A Analyst will be instrumental in providing financial insights, supporting project performance management, and ensuring data-driven decision-making to improve operational efficiency and profitability. This is an exciting opportunity for an inquisitive and results-oriented individual to work closely with various stakeholders across finance, operations, and project management within a collaborative and supportive environment. About you
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a background in project accounting and FP&A, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide trend-based recommendations, particularly around project performance and revenue recognition. You will bring a proactive mindset, with the ability to manage, influence, and challenge non-Financial stakeholders, and communicate effectively with Director-level stakeholders across the business. You will be adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment that promotes autonomy and encourages you to influence decisions.
As the FP&A Analyst your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Review, interpret, and communicate financial data related to project performance and recurring revenue.
- Ensure data is collected and purposed effectively to support decision-making and project performance improvement
- Support project revenue performance by closely monitoring project accounting data, liaising with PMO and Sales teams, and ensuring alignment on recurring revenue metrics
- Be the go-to person for recommendations to address project performance issues and proactively provide proposals for cost efficiency
- Collaborate with the wider Finance team to develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and regular financial analysis
- Play an instrumental role in the company-wide budget planning process and communicate findings to senior management, including Head of Projects and CFO
- Engage with PMOs to challenge and ensure efficient project spend and lifecycle management
- Maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Project Management, and Technology
- Hold weekly meetings with project and sales teams to report progress, drive accountability, and ensure cohesive communication across teams
- Participate in the development of new systems for governance and control, with a focus on tools that support project lifecycle, P&L, and margin reporting for Project Managers
What the client offers:
- £55,000 - £60,000
