Citadel Source are delighted to work with a well-established business in the North Bristol area seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Finance Analyst to join their team.

About you

You will be a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant with advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial modelling expertise. You will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, supported by proven commercial experience, and will have a solid background in delivering timely and accurate reports.

The role

The main purpose of this role is to support the development and maintenance of reports that meet the needs of the business, helping to drive performance and identify areas for improvement. You will assist the business area in developing annual budgets and forecasts, contribute to the reporting of financial performance, and ensure that financial controls are operating effectively.

As a Finance Analyst, your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions
• Reconcile key accounts and ensure data accuracy across systems
• Collaborate with business partners to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Support the finance team with ad hoc analysis and project work 

What the client has to offer

• A salary level of £35,000 to £40,000
• Hybrid working policy (2 days per week for the right candidate)
