Citadel Source are delighted to be supporting a fast-growing retail business that is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team and help scale and professionalise the finance function. This is a key role offering exposure to senior leadership and the chance to influence strategic decision-making.
The role
The successful candidate will support the Retail & Marketing departments, driving commercial performance and operational efficiency.
As a Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Partnering with commercial and operational teams to provide actionable financial insight
- Presenting financial analysis at quarterly review meetings and supporting reforecasting
- Conducting P&L analysis, management reporting, and budgeting support
- Ad-hoc reporting to aid decision-making and supporting lease renegotiations with the CFO
- Supporting audit queries and submission of board packs
- Supporting the FP&A Manager with budgeting & forecasting
- Submission of board packs and providing commentary to senior leadership
- Supporting audit queries
- Assisting month end activities, including monthly management accounts & reconciliations
What the client is looking for
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to model complex financial data
- Competent in IT systems (Microsoft Business Central & Power BI preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, logical approach, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to manage tight deadlines
- Experience in a business partnering or FP&A role
What the client has to offer
- Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days remote (Gloucester)
