Citadel Source are delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in the search for a commercially focused Management Accountant. This is a key position within the business, offering a blend of financial responsibility and operational involvement, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the day-to-day running of an organisation while contributing to strategic decision-making.

About you

You will be a hands-on and commercially aware finance professional with strong experience across management accounting, budgeting, and payroll. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll be confident partnering with stakeholders across the business, supporting both financial control and operational performance. With strong organisational skills and attention to detail, you’ll be equally comfortable in the detail as you are contributing to broader business strategy.

As a Management Accountant, your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Producing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning
• Monitoring financial performance across multiple revenue streams and identifying areas for improvement
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies
• Overseeing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy across wages, benefits, and reporting
• Tracking staffing costs and supporting budget holders with cost control and financial oversight
• Supporting pricing, stock control, and financial processes linked to operational areas
• Working closely with operational teams to support the smooth running of day-to-day activities
• Collaborating with department leads to improve efficiency and maintain high standards across the business
• Supporting senior leadership with strategic planning, performance insight, and business initiatives
• Contributing to team development, supporting a positive and collaborative working culture
• Assisting with business development initiatives, including new revenue opportunities and customer engagement
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and governance requirements

What the client has to offer

• A salary of £37,000 - £43,000 and benefits package
• Part-time hours available of 30
