Citadel Source is delighted to be working with a hospitality brand based in Bristol city centre, who are seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant. This is a full-time, fully office-based role.
Initially, this position will be for 8 weeks; however, there is a strong possibility of an extension. Therefore, to be considered, you will need to be immediately available or able to start at short notice.
About you
You will be an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager. The role requires a good communicator who can complete the end-to-end accounts payable process, ideally with previous experience working with European stakeholders.
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Ownership of end-to-end purchase ledger process
- Processing supplier bills and credit notes
- Onboarding new supplier – completing credit checks
- Bank and Statements reconciliations
- Supporting monthly completion of VAT returns
- Support month-end processes (posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations)
- Ad hoc finance-related activities
What the client is looking for
- Experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable function
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- European stakeholder experience
- NetSuite experience (desired)

- £15-£16 per hour
