Citadel Source is delighted to be partnering with a fast‑growing, private equity‑backed organisation to support the recruitment of their newly created FP&A & Systems Manager on a permanent contract.

The role

This is a newly created role sitting at the intersection of Finance, Operations and Technology. The position has been newly created with a view to improving the integrity of financial and operational data, developing management reporting, enhancing forecasting processes and driving improvements in how the business uses data to support decision‑making. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the organisation has robust, scalable reporting frameworks and reliable management information to support future growth. The role will also support the integration of acquisitions, helping to standardise reporting, controls and business processes across the Group.

 

About you

The successful candidate will ideally come from a core finance background, with strong reporting and analytical skills. You may currently be working in FP&A, Business Intelligence, Finance Systems or a similar role where data, reporting and turning insights into something useful to the business are a key part of your responsibilities. You’ll be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders, understanding what they need and turning business requirements into practical reporting solutions that add value.

 

As the FP&A & Systems Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Producing and enhancing management information, KPI reporting and business performance analysis
  • Developing reporting packs for senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Analysing trends, risks and opportunities across multiple business units
  • Improving the automation, accuracy and accessibility of management information
  • Taking ownership of financial and operational data integrity across business systems
  • Ensuring accurate flow of information between core operational and finance platforms
  • Reconciling operational activity to finance systems and investigating discrepancies
  • Designing and implementing controls to improve data quality and reporting accuracy
  • Identifying opportunities to automate manual reporting and reconciliation activities
  • Working alongside internal stakeholders and third‑party providers on automation and AI initiatives
  • Improving efficiency, scalability and control across finance and operational processes
  • Developing dashboards, reports and data‑driven solutions to support decision‑making
  • Maintaining process documentation and data governance
  • Supporting business change, reporting upgrades and integration projects
  • Assisting with the integration of acquired businesses into Group reporting and data structures
  • Supporting data migration, process harmonisation and controls implementation
  • Providing training and support to stakeholders across the business
  • Recommending and implementing reporting and insight improvements
