Citadel Source is delighted to partner a leading retail brand to support the search for their new Management Accountant (FP&A).

The role

This is a hybrid position that blends FP&A with core management accounting responsibilities. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance reporting, ensuring the business has the insight needed to make informed decisions. You’ll also take ownership of month-end processes, internal reporting, and the continuous improvement of financial systems and procedures.

About you

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong analytical and communication skills, and the confidence to challenge assumptions where necessary. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adept at building effective relationships across the business. Experience in financial modelling, management reporting, and process improvement will be highly valued.

As the Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Producing weekly and monthly financial reports, including revenue, KPI and cash flow reporting
• Preparing and consolidating budgets and forecasts, ensuring deadlines are met and data is accurate
• Analysing financial performance, identifying variances and providing insightful commentary
• Supporting the implementation and optimisation of FP&A tools and systems
• Liaising with stakeholders to challenge and validate financial assumptions
• Driving process improvements across reporting, forecasting and budgeting cycles
• Assisting with audit requirements, compliance checks and ad-hoc financial analysis
