Citadel Source is delighted to be partnering with a well-recognised brand based in Westbury, who are seeking a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their team.
About You
You will be an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor reporting to the Finance Manager. The role calls for a confident communicator with proven experience in leading an Accounts Payable team within a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have worked within a group structure, managing processes across multiple businesses.
The Role
This is a hands-on role, requiring expertise in managing a high-volume Accounts Payable function, therefore strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential. As our Purchase Ledger Supervisor, you will play a key role in driving efficiency, maintaining accuracy, and shaping a high-performing team while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
As the Purchase Ledger Supervisor, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Managing and supporting the Accounts Payable team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Overseeing the end-to-end purchase ledger process, including invoices, credit notes, and supplier queries.
- Onboarding new suppliers, completing credit checks, and maintaining compliance with company procedures.
- Carrying out supplier statement and bank reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies.
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting
- Identifying and implementing process improvements within the purchase ledger function.
