Job Description
Citadel Source is working in partnership with a successful financial services company based in Avonmouth to recruit a Temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant to assist with a backlog.
This is initially a three-month contract position, with the potential for extension. To be considered for the role, you will need to be available to start immediately or at very short notice.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need prior experience in a similar position, a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, and sound knowledge of accounting principles. You will be detail-oriented, organised and have strong communication skills.
As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Supporting the running of the accounts department
- Managing and processing customer invoices
- Assisting with monthly bank reconciliations
- Receive payments, match them to corresponding invoices, and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation
- Ensuring all customer account documentation is accurately filed
- Regularly report to Credit Control on outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments

- A salary range of £14 p/h - £16 p/h
- Hybrid working – only 2 says per week
