Citadel Source is delighted to be partnering with a successful company based in the South Bristol area to recruit a Temporary AR Analyst to join their finance team. This role is initially offered on a three-month contract basis; however, for the right person, there is potential for an extension.

To be considered for this role, you must be immediately available or available at very short notice.

The role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the Accounts Receivable ledger is fully reconciled and balanced. The role requires a strong focus on investigating and resolving discrepancies within customer accounts and payments. You will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex account data to maintain integrity and accuracy, while identifying and resolving both historical and current errors.

About you

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all incoming funds through the main business bank account and conducting forensic reviews of customer accounts to identify and correct errors. Accuracy is therefore essential, and you must be organised and possess strong communication skills. You will be AAT qualified or studying towards your qualification, have strong Excel skills, and ideally, working knowledge of Sage Intacct. 

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Investigate and resolve all issues related to incorrect allocations and payment discrepancies
• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure all receipts are accurately applied
• Liaise with internal departments and external customers to resolve allocation queries and disputes
• Continuously review processes to improve efficiency and prevent recurring errors

• A salary level between £15 p/h – £18 p/h
• Hybrid (with the possibility of a fully remote arrangement after training for the right candidate)
