Citadel Source is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our growing client based in South Devon. 

About you

You will be a proactive and motivated individual with a strong work ethic, who takes pride in delivering both individual and team objectives. You will be enthusiastic, committed, and an effective communicator who works well collaboratively within a team environment. You will be qualified or part-qualified in CIMA or ACCA and possess strong Excel skills. You will take a collaborative approach and contribute to wider business improvement initiatives. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, particularly involving month-end processes, along with a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.

The role

The Management Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller and will play an important role in ensuring that stakeholders receive accurate and timely financial information. The position will also support the preparation and delivery of the organisation’s monthly reporting requirements.

As a Management Accountant, your role will include, but not be limited to:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Analyse variances against budgets and forecasts
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Partner with departments to support financial decisions
• Ensure accuracy, controls, and compliance in financial reporting
• Support the wider finance team during month-end procedures
• Contribute to process improvements and financial accuracy

What the client has to offer

• A salary level of £40,000 to £50,000
• Fully remote, though you will be expected to travel to the Devon office when required by the business
• Parking on site
