  • Oversee control account movements and monthly financials prepared by outsourced providers, resolving discrepancies with senior leadership
  • Manage outsourced finance providers, ensuring service quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Review and validate revenue recognition and financial reporting prepared by outsourced teams
  • Reconcile internal booking documentation with recognised revenue, resolving discrepancies with commercial stakeholders
  • Review in‑house vs outsourced activities to optimise scope and identify synergies
  • Support quarterly forecasting, including sensitivity analysis
  • Support the annual budgeting cycle and assist in developing cost forecasts and timing plans
  • Prepare quarterly profit share calculations and payments
  • Maintain customer profiles and payment schedules, escalating exceptions early
  • Support new client onboarding, including tax documentation, working with outsourced teams
  • Ensure compliance with all required legislation across multiple countries
  • Manage outsourced payroll processes, including BIK and P11D requirements
  • Drive improvements in finance processes, systems and tools, including automation and system upgrades
  • Maintain and enhance Excel‑based tools for revenue, invoicing, and control account monitoring
  • Ensure data integrity across platforms and optimise integration between finance and CRM systems
  • Train internal stakeholders on finance processes and reporting tools to build self‑service capability
  • Report business trends, margin performance, and client/industry segmentation
  • Provide commercial insight to the management team, highlighting key issues and opportunities

What the client is looking for

  • Part‑qualified or fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong technical grounding in financial control, reporting, and revenue recognition
  • Experience managing outsourced finance providers or external stakeholders
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance competing priorities
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence working with complex data
  • Advanced Excel skills, including structured modelling and scalable tool development
  • Interest in process improvement, automation, and emerging finance tools
  • Comfortable working in a virtual, international environment
