Citadel Source is looking for an experienced and detail-focused Finance Manager to join our client, based in the heart of the city centre. This is a great opportunity to take on a key role within the finance team, helping to ensure the organisation stays compliant with statutory requirements while delivering accurate and high-quality financial reporting.

About You

You’ll have experience managing statutory accounts, year-end reporting and external audits. Experience with group accounts is essential. We’re looking for a newly qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards. You’ll also have experience working with statutory accounts, year-end financial reporting and external auditors, as well as preparing group accounts.

The Role

As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Managing budgets and forecasts, providing useful analysis and insights
• Preparing and submitting VAT, PAYE and other statutory returns
• Reconciling balance sheets and managing general ledger accounts
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Looking for ways to improve financial processes and make things more efficient

What the client has to offer

• Salary: £50,000–£55,000
• Hybrid working: 2 days per week from home after probation
