As the business continues to develop, there is an increasing emphasis on project delivery, operational efficiency and driving positive change across the organisation. You will play a key role in helping to deliver strategic initiatives, improve processes and ensure projects translate into meaningful business outcomes.
The role
As Projects & Transformation Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of finance initiatives, helping to shape and deliver improvements that support the wider business. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, bringing stakeholders together and navigating challenges to keep projects on track. A structured, organised approach, coupled with clear communication and a collaborative mindset, will be essential. Experience in supporting finance-related change, financial systems upgrades and business transformation is key, with a recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 being advantageous.
As the Projects & Transformation Manager your role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Overseeing a range of finance change initiatives, translating initial concepts and business requirements into clear delivery plans
- Monitoring project milestones, resource requirements and potential issues to maintain progress against agreed objectives
- Engaging with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to secure alignment, resolve challenges and maintain momentum throughout delivery
- Identifying opportunities to simplify financial processes, improve consistency and introduce greater automation
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of finance technology, including system changes, upgrades and integrations
- Putting appropriate controls, reporting processes and decision-making structures in place to support effective project delivery
- Organising implementation activities, including system testing, stakeholder training and the transition to new ways of working
- Tracking project outcomes and assessing the benefits achieved against the original business case and strategic priorities
What the client has to offer
- Salary between £55,000 - £65,000
- Car allowance
- Company pension scheme
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Opportunities for career progression
- Hybrid – generally 2-3 days on-site
