Citadel Source is delighted to be working with a construction company based in the Emerson Green area, who are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Manager. This is a permanent role, offered on a hybrid working basis.

About you

You will be an experienced Accounts Payable Manager reporting to the Financial Controller. To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience managing a large team and overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable process. Ideally, you will have experience within a construction environment and possess a good understanding of CIS regulations.

As an Accounts Payable Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments
• Lead, mentor, and develop the AP team
• Implement and maintain AP policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment discrepancies
• Monitor cash flow and schedule payments efficiently
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
• Prepare AP reports and support month-end/year-end closing activities
• Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance

What the client has to offer

• A salary between £40,000 and £45,000
• Parking provided
• Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
• Annual bonus
