Citadel Source are pleased to be working exclusively with a well-established and highly respected FMCG brand who is looking to appoint an Accounts Receivable Lead to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the AR function within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

About you

You will have previous experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control, ideally with some exposure to leading processes and mentoring others. You will have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, alongside being a confident communicator who can build relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders. You will bring a proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel skills are essential, and experience with ERP systems would be beneficial.

 

The role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely collection of cash, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving process improvements.

 

As a Accounts Receivable Lead, your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle, including invoicing, cash allocation, and collections
  • Take ownership of the sales ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation
  • Proactively manage and reduce aged debt, following up with customers where required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Produce regular AR reports, including debtor analysis and cash flow forecasting
  • Support with month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce risk
  • Assist with query resolution and ensure a high standard of customer service
