Citadel Source are delighted to be partnering with a leading PLC, undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation, now looking to appoint a Commercial Analyst to support their regional operations.
This is a high-impact role sitting at the heart of the business, where you’ll use data and insight to influence key commercial decisions, improve performance, and support long-term growth strategy.
About you
You’re a commercially minded analyst who enjoys getting under the skin of the data and using it to influence real business decisions. You’re confident working with senior stakeholders and aren’t afraid to challenge thinking where needed.
As a Commercial Analyst, your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Developing a full understanding of regional and market performance
- Analysing customer trends and revenue drivers to support forecasting and planning
- Providing data-led insight to influence senior decision-making
- Evaluating pricing strategies and identifying opportunities for optimisation
- Supporting budgets and forecasts across volume, revenue, and yield
- Assessing new initiatives and funding streams, making recommendations on future strategy
- Producing clear, actionable insights from multiple data sources
- Building strong relationships across Finance and the wider business
What the client is looking for
- Experience in a commercial or analytical role, ideally within a data-rich environment
- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight
- Confidence presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
- A naturally curious and inquisitive mindset, always looking to improve and optimise
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel and Power BI
What the client has to offer
- Salary of £40,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)
- Hybrid working - typically 3 days in the office (flexible on days)
