Citadel Source is proud to be partnering with a global professional services business to recruit a Global Process Lead – Record to Report (R2R) to join their Finance Shared Services team in the Bath area.

The role

This is a great opportunity for a finance professional with strong R2R experience who enjoys improving processes, driving change and working with stakeholders across different regions. This newly created role will focus on reviewing, documenting, and standardising finance processes across a global business. You'll work closely with finance teams to identify inefficiencies, improve controls and help create consistent ways of working. You'll also support the development of a shared services model and play a key role in wider finance transformation projects.

About you

You'll have strong end-to-end R2R experience, including month-end close, general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, fixed assets and financial controls. You'll have experience mapping and improving finance processes and be comfortable working in a changing environment. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as you'll be partnering with teams across multiple regions to drive improvements and support change. Experience within finance transformation, shared services or offshoring environments would be highly beneficial. You will ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, although strong part-qualified candidates will also be considered.

As a Global Process Lead – Record to Report (R2R), your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Reviewing and documenting existing R2R processes
• Identifying process improvements and control gaps
• Creating standardised process maps and procedures
• Driving consistency across finance processes globally
• Supporting shared services and offshoring initiatives
• Working with regional finance teams to implement improvements
• Supporting finance transformation and continuous improvement projects
• Exploring opportunities to leverage automation and AI solutions
